	If one has identified with being a highly competitive person and has invested much time and energy into conscious or unconscious warriorship, then the approximately two year major transits of Neptune to Mars can be very confusing and troubling. The competitive fire and ego drives that are associated with Mars get melded with the softening and dissolving influences of otherworldly Neptune. Thus, one of the most noticeable effects of these transits is a diminishment of physical stamina and physical vigor. Neptune dampens the flames and heat of Mars's strength and virility. Highly demanding and intense physical routines should be revised at these times, and, in fact, highly strenuous output may induce a greater susceptibility to disease and fatigue. To form an alliance with the impact of a Neptune transit to Mars, it is best to find routines that aren't extraordinarily physically demanding or exhausting. A lighter workout regimen is needed. The important thing to do at this time is to have some sort of disciplined regimen because there may be a desire to simply become slothful and ignore the body's health. Many forms of yoga, tai chi, and swimming are ideal candidates at this time because of the relatively soft and low impact nature of these regimens. Changes in sexual drive and virility can accompany these transits. Although Neptune is not truly affiliated with sexual potency and drive, it is still transiting Mars and sexuality becomes implicated. There can be a heightening of sexuality at this time, but it is not typically the raw, unrestrained libido associated with other transits to Mars, particularly Uranus and Pluto transits. Rather, sex and sexual drive can become either sensitized or sublimated. Sexuality can become wedded with a sense of healing and the amount of sexual sensitivity can increase. On the other hand, sexual drive can simply be washed out and converted for more noble and idealized activity. Pluto transits to Mars This is one of the most powerful combinations because of the extreme intensity of physical energy and drive that accompanies these transits. This transit is concerned with primal intensity and brute survival. We may be psychologically, or in a very real sense, submerged into a battleground of might-makes-right. We may be tested to bring out untapped reserves of courage, strength, and energy at this time. This is an important time to tackle a demanding physical routine. Turned off by those guys at the gym who grunt and yell when power lifting? Well, an interesting occurrence may happen as you identify with that type of energy. You may not actually take on a routine like this, but your body's energy is resonating right now with the raw power and stamina that it takes to accomplish such routines. This is also a time when one can transform a lot of highly aggressive, if not angry, energy into something quite productive and fruitful. The extreme heat and passion of this energy can be the force necessary to transform the physicality of the body. Sexuality is often a key component to a major Pluto transit to Mars. Desire and libido will be flaring forth with tremendous force at this time. However, the difficulty of this transit is that one can become quite possessed and in the grip of sexual obsession. If sexual desire isn't easily satisfied at this time, then there can be a sense of tremendous aggravation and irritation now. The difficulty with this and nearly all Pluto transits is to not become all-consumed with the energy. Balance and rationality are not easily achieved during these particular times. Thus, cultivating a sense of awareness about deeper motivations and becoming psychological astute can be critical in terms of navigating this particular time.
