	Neptune transits to Saturn Probably at no other time is one open to infectious disease as during a Neptune transit to Saturn. These long and drawn out chapters in our lives can signal a time of staying above water, fighting flues, colds, and other airborne viral infections. Neptune transits weaken the body's natural immunity and it is very difficult to stave off unseen influences from the external environment. These transits may also signal a tough time with the mere notion of being embodied. Life can be quite challenging and fraught with disillusionment right now, and thus the urge to transcend the mundane or material world is quite high right now. A Neptune transit to Saturn can be a time in which the body and its ability for pleasure is negated for higher states of consciousness. Austere and ascetic practices can be rigidly enforced on the body so as to purge itself of attachment and desire. Pluto transits to Saturn During Pluto transits to Saturn, everything associated with Saturn becomes highly powerful and extreme. Thus, Saturn affiliations such as aging, maturity, hardness, and discipline can take on an overwhelming presence in the body. Like the Neptune transit, Pluto transiting Saturn can be quite austere and demanding. Rigid control and repression can result from an over identification with the archetypal energy at the time of this transit. Body posturing and armoring can become stoic, if not completely out-of-control. Pluto transits to Saturn can signify the presence of a larger-than-life superego that can effect all bodily processes from diet to sex. Thus, rigid controls and negation of normal life functions can become quite severe during this time period. If Saturn transits increase the sense of aging and mortality, then Pluto transits to Saturn take this felt perception to an altogether new level of heightened awareness. Old age, death, and disease can become a fixation at this point in one's development and, as mentioned above, the difficulty with Pluto's power is that its transiting energy can become all-encompassing. Because Neptune and Pluto represent timeless and transpersonal dimensions of the psyche, much of the effects of aging associated with their transits to Saturn are amplified through images (particularly in the case of Neptune) and instinctual responses (in the case of Pluto). It is necessary when undergoing such a passage to recall that the experiences, though not necessarily illusory, are dimensions that are far greater than mundane, individual biography. In a similar way, the body's personal boundaries can get more taught and wider during Saturn transits to itself. Character armor gets rougher and harder and influences from the outside environment have a more difficult time penetrating the thick skin which crystallizes over the body. Although this system of boundaries cannot be seen through the senses, it can be intuited and quickly perceived by one's self and those around you.
